.net.tr is a third-level registration structure under Türkiye’s .tr country code. It is separate from the standalone .net extension. General applications moved to allocation without supporting certificates when TRABİS began operating on 14 September 2022. Search your service name for Türkiye at DomainQ and apply for an eligible .net.tr.

Present technical support, connectivity or infrastructure services at a Türkiye-focused address. The extension does not provide an operating licence or authorisation.

Group software services, installation guides and customer support under one name. Check that the product name is clear to spell and pronounce in Turkish.

Differences between .net.tr, .net and .com.tr
Check .net.tr, .net and .com.tr availability at DomainQ; despite overlapping uses, their registrations and prices are independent.
.net: generic extension
Verisign operates .net, which is not a country code. .net.tr follows TRABİS rules; one registration does not include the other.
.com.tr: a different namespace
.com.tr and .net.tr are separate addresses. If using both for a company and its technical service, choose which is primary.
.tr: direct country-code registration
name.tr is a shorter, separate registration. It is not automatically allocated to the holder of name.net.tr; check availability and conditions separately.

The name must contain 2–63 characters using permitted ASCII letters rather than Turkish characters. Check hyphen positions.
Prohibited and restricted names
TAKAL-listed names cannot be registered. TAKIL-listed names may have extra conditions; availability alone does not establish a right.

A search does not reserve the name. Confirm registration before using the address in advertising or printed materials.
